We’re loving this new discovery from Paris (courtesy of a tip from GoGoParis), called Gals Rock. It’s a boutique celebrating all things related to female rock culture, including a back room that’s like a lounge for hosting acoustic sets, like the latest with Julie Peel and Burka Blue.
There’s a listening room for CDs for sale, plus of course cool girl band merch, T-shirts, stickers, books by Chicks on Speed and Dana Wyse’s entire collection such as “Understand Contemporary Art, Instantly.”
Located at 17 rue Henri Monnier, 9th , Paris, France. Hours are noon to 9 p.m.
