We love Tina Fey for so many reasons, but her acceptance speech for winning the Mark Twain Award for American Humor is so funny and intelligent.
I’d have to say, she’s a true Wigger. She’s the third woman to win this, behind Lily Tomlin and Whoopie Goldberg. As she put it, there should be so many more women recognized that then there would be no reason to count what number female you are for winning such an award.
She covers all areas of life in America, from family, to entertainment, to politics, to the economy and also to women’s lifestyles and what it means to find humor in our world today. Her speech will go down in herstory.
